Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out which of the three positions is more
dominant or favorite for players to smash back attacks. This research is a
quantitative descriptive using analytical methods. This method is document analysis,
namely research conducted on information documented in video form. Determine the
sample using the purposive sampling method, namely the teams that qualify for the
top five round of the 2020/2021 Italian Superleague standings as follows: Ferugia,
Lube Civitanova, Trentino, Monza, Vibo Valentia. The data was taken from
observing YouTube videos, then analyzed using descriptive techniques with
percentages. The results showed that the back attack was often done from position 1
for 199 times, from position 6 for 111 and from position 5 for 0 (zero) of the total
punches taken were 310.
